What is Dual Enrollment?
An easy and FREE way to jump start your college career, while completing your high school requirements.

What are the expectations in college?
Success in college depends upon your academic readiness, maturity and determination to succeed! Interested students must understand
that dual enrollment courses are college-level courses that will appear on your permanent college record.

Can I enroll in the summer?
No. Students are only eligible to take classes offered in the fall and spring

What classes are not eligible?
Students may not take remedial, preparatory, courses less than three credits, applied courses such as music, dance, and physical education, or those that require a pre-requisite.

What must I do to continue in the program?
Students must maintain a minimum high school G.P.A. of a 3.0 and a 2.0 in their college course. Students who earn an “F” are no longer eligible to participate in the program. Inappropriate and/or disruptive behavior may mean grounds for dismissal.

Do I have to pay for books?
Depending on the course taken, eligible students may receive a voucher for their books. For more information, contact your high school counselor.

Will my courses transfer?
Dual enrollment credits are transferable to any Florida public college or university and to many other public and private schools. Students desiring to transfer credits are encouraged to check with the other institution to determine if credits are transferable.

How will I know where my classes are?
All students will receive a copy of their class schedule during the mandatory orientation. At this time you will receive a Campus Map to help you locate your classes. Don't hesitate to contact us for more information and help navigating the campus.

How can I obtain a copy of my transcript?
Grades are sent to your High School at the end of the term. If you are required to produce official transcripts for college applications, admissions, or any other purpose, you must order them. Transcript Request
