The Physical Education Majors Club (PEM Club) is a student organization designed to support, inspire, and promote professionalism and social interactions amoPEM Membersng its members by stimulating their minds and increasing the overall possibilities of students' educational experiences. The club provides an opportunity for future professionals to network with peers, teachers, and prominent figures state-widen and nationally.

The PEM Club aims to:

  •      implement innovative ways to promote and strengthen physical education
  •      create and stimulate an atmosphere of interest for progress in the profession
  •      encourage greater social and professional cooperation among students interested in physical education K-12
  •      participate actively in the affairs of the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE Florida) and other state and national education associations interested in promoting the growth and development of children state-wide
  •      coordinate and administer special knowledger and skills of the PEM Club members to serve the entire student body
  •      provide opportunities to network with various professional organizations and become acquainted with the philosophy and teaching strategies of current educators in physical education
