Dr. Cornelius Golden

Rev. Cornelius S. Golden, Sr., D.Min.

Born in Daytona Beach Fl. Attended Volusia County public schools: Bonner Elementary, Campbell Jr. High and Campbell Sr. High schools.

He acknowledged a call to preach the gospel of Christ in February 1987. After acknowledging the call Dr. Golden matriculated through Albany State University in Albany Georgia and graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. He attended Seminary at The Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta Georgia and graduated with a Master of Divinity with dual concentrations in Theology and Ethics. He furthered his theological education by obtaining a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Liberty University with dual concentrations in Evangelism/Church Growth and Pastoral Care & Counseling.

Dr. Golden is currently involved in research focusing on the dynamic of rehabilitation in an effort to affect the recidivism rate within the prison population.

Dr. Golden has fraternal affiliations with the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Ancient Free & Accepted Prince Hall Masonic Family.

He is the recipient of the Rufus Isaac Clark Preaching Award and the John Hurst Adams Family Award.
