Rev. David Allen

Reverend David Allen Jr. earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion & Philosophy from Bethune-Cookman University; and Masters of Divinity and Master of Christian Education from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Rev. Allen is an ordained Elder in full-connection and serves on the UMC Board of Ordained Ministry, Conference Relations Committee, and the Board of Higher Education and Campus Ministry

Rev. Allen served as Bethune-Cookman University's Dean of the Chapel/ Executive Chaplain for two and a half years. He currently serves as the Assistant Dean in the new School of Religion and teaches the Christian Ministry Spiritual Formation course. He is also pursuing a doctoral degree in Higher Education Leadership with a concentration in Organizational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University.

He is happily married to Mrs. Courtney M. Allen and they have three wonderful children, whose names are Trinity, Zahir and Nygel Allen.
