Bethune-Cookman University President Trudie Kibbe Reed happily accepted a $75,000 contribution from B-CU alumna Lucille O’Neal, who made the presentation last week on behalf of her children, Shaquille, Lateefah, Ayesha and Jamal.

More than 600 members of the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church are expected to be on the Bethune-Cookman University campus beginning July 17 through July 22 to attend the 2007 School of Christian Mission sponsored by the Florida Conference of United Methodist Women.

Bethune Cookman Breaks Annual UNCF Drive Record - Lesa Kennedy to Lead Next Year’s Team

Bethune-Cookman University President Dr. Trudie Kibbe Reed has announced that the 2007 annual joint fundraising drive in conjunction with the United Negro College Fund Drive ended with a new record amount raised, and for the first time broke the annual $400,000 goal set by the UNCF. A total of $428,000 was raised this year, with $28,000 to be applied as a head start for next year’s drive.
