B-CU Campus Safe after Shooting
The names of these students will not be released until their families have been notified. The three students sustained non-life threatening injuries. The students were treated at local hospitals and have been released.
Two suspects were apprehended by campus security officers and detained by the Daytona Beach Police Department. The suspects’ names have not been released.
President Jackson stated, “Our public-safety officers responded swiftly to secure the campus and we are grateful that the injuries sustained by our students were non-life threatening. As a community we will gather to remind our students of the importance of upholding the core values on which this university was built.”
