B-CU Alumna and Entrepreneur Creates Cultural Fashion Apparel

Krysta Winston, a former B-CU student earned a degree in music recording technology, but that didn't stop her from pursuing her gifts. Krysta is the owner of Hyp Kreationz, a clothing line catered to culture and history. Winston is a self taught graphic designer that transformed her hobby into a profitable business. She has created logo and designs for several businesses and organizations and has now chosen to create a t-shirt line that represents African-American culture through images and statements. Winston’s inspiration comes from her childhood experiences in the arts and knowing she would always attend a historically black college. Krysta is a 2009 graduate and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. She currently operates her business from her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. With an ever growing customer base, you can find her designs on the likes of celebrity radio personalities and more. To learn more about Hyp Kreationz, visit
