Preserving the Legacy and Building Bridges for the Future of Bethune-Cookman University
This month, Bethune-Cookman University received $45,000 toward the “Promise to the Future” Campaign. The “Promise to the Future” was established to support the strategic vision of the University by providing students with scholarships and financial support. Contributions were presented on behalf of The Robert and Nina Rosenthal Foundation for $10,000 and The Rotary Foundation donated another $10,000. This week, our largest gift came from Disney Worldwide Services for $25,000 as an annual gift in support of the Dr. Bob Billingslea School of Hospitality Management.
The Department of Institutional Advancement through the Office of Annual Giving endorsed the “Promise to the Future” campaign, challenging university alumni, faculty and staff to give back. Many people cross bridges, but at B-CU we build bridges! Thank you to those that have given generously in honor of the legacy of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune.
