About CIT

The Center for Information Technology (CIT) supports Bethune-Cookman University students, faculty, and staff in their use of computer technology and the Internet for instruction, research, and administrative services.
 
CIT is comprised of five divisions: Academic Computing, Administrative Computing, User Support Services, Network Support and Telecommunications, and Web Services.  Special focus will be placed on the assessment, selection and provision of computing, networking and telecommunications equipment and facilities to the University community.  The CIT offices are located in Faith Hall - North Side.

CIT support services include:

    * Windows and Macintosh desktop development,
    * automated technology updates,
    * computer replacement planning,
    * student computer lab support,
    * instructional and classroom technology support,
    * campus web site design and maintenance,
    * workshops and training,
    * hardware repair,
    * network infrastructure and server configuration,
    * Internet access,
    * network security and bandwidth management,
    * computer virus, spam, and spyware protection,
    * electronic test scoring and course evaluation.
