Blackboard enables instructors to provide students with course materials, dicussion boards, virtual chat, online assessments, academic resources, and more.
LockDown Browser Tutorials & Guides
LockDown Browser is a custom Web browser that secures the testing environment with Blackboard. Students are locked into the assessment and are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications. Students must download and install the LockDown Browser software application from Respondus, Inc. in order to access and complete LockDown Browser-secured assessments in Blackboard.
Turnitin Tutorials & Guides
Turnitin is a Web-based plagiarism detection service created by iParadigms, LLC. Turnitin checks for possible plagiarism by comparing papers submitted by students electonically against digital databases of millions of published works. Instructors at B-CU may use Turnitin through the Turnitin website or through Blackboard and students may be required to submit their written assignments through Turnitin.
