Dr. Tashna Felix

Bethune-Cookman University 2003 graduate, Dr. Tashna Felix, was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica and later migrated to Miami, Florida.
After graduating from McArthur High School in Hollywood, Florida, she attended B-CU and received a BA in Psychology.
After working one year as a case manager in Volusia County, Dr. Felix knew she wanted to do more to help the mental health population. She went on to complete a five-year doctoral program at the American School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C. and graduated with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2009.
Dr. Felix is now the owner and director of Professional Psychological Services, a mental health private practice located outside of the Washington, D.C. metro area. She is licensed as a psychologist in Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, and Florida. She is also a Certified Sex Offender Treatment provider and qualified to provide adult and juvenile forensic evaluations in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C.
Dr. Felix is a member of American Psychological Association (APA), Coalition for Juvenile Justice (CJJ), Virginia Juvenile Justice Association (VJJA), Virginia Sex Offender Association (
