How to Apply

Bethune-Cookman University seeks to enroll graduate students with the potential and desire to further their career and intellectual development. Each applicant is evaluated individually based on their academic performance at the undergraduate level, professional experience, and demonstrated interest in obtaining an advanced degree.

To be considered for admissions to a graduate program at Bethune-Cookman, the applicant must have satisfactorily completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, and meet other program-specific requirements. 

All students applying to B-CU Graduate Studies must submit the following:
  • A completed application for Graduate Studies
  • Official copies of transcript(s) 
  • Statement or Essay (Insert MSOL topic - or link to PDF file with the topic below)
    A minimum 500-word essay on a social or economic problem (local or global). APA style citations and references are required. This should be a sample of scholarly writing and not a personal essay or opinion statement.
  • Letters of Recommendation
  • Resume or CV
  • GRE scores
  • TOEFL scores where applicable
  • A $50 non-refundable application fee

Upon completion of the initial application, additional supporting documentation may be required.
