BS/Business Administration with a Concentration in Hospitality & Management Systems

The Business Administration with a Concentration in Hospitality and Management Systems (HMS) degree is designed to prepare graduates with the requisite knowledge, skills, and values to effectively apply various business and hospitality principles and tools in an organizational setting. The program is designed to bridge the gap between theory and practical application while examining the areas of accounting, hospitality, systems thinking, critical thinking and decision-making, finance, business law, leadership, management, marketing, organizational behavior, research and evaluation, and technology. Students are required to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the undergraduate business and hospitality curricula through an integrated, experiential learning capstone course. Upon graduation, students will be adequately prepared for entry into the public and private sectors as entry-level managers. The program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration (ACPHA).
