Dear Prospective Band Member:

The Bethune Cookman University Marching Wildcats are in the process of recruiting new students that are interested in attending Bethune Cookman University and participating in the band program for the 2023-2024 academic school year. The Band Program is composed of the Marching Wildcats, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and University Band. Students also have the option of participating in a variety of ensembles that include Woodwinds, Brass & Percussion.

Scholarships are available for those students who qualify for an audition. Scholarships range from $1,000.00 to full scholarship based on musical abilities, and the instrumental needs of the band program for the coming year. Students who have made All-State Band in their respective state may qualify for a full scholarship that covers tuition and housing, however, an audition is still required that demonstrates the skills and talents for such a scholarship. All students receiving band scholarships and participant in the marching band program are required to have a valid U.S. passport, must be admitted and accepted to the institution, have on file a Bethune-Cookman University Medical History Form with the Office of Health Services, a completed Federal Financial Aid Form on file with the Bethune Cookman University Financial Aid Office as well as maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 while attending the institution.
