Breaking Records and Barriers

From the track to the classroom, our Wildcats are soaring to new heights in both athletics and academics.

In this edition of the Wildcat Report, we head to the track where two brothers broke the 600-meter record at Bethune-Cookman University in men’s track. Both credit their success to God, unwavering determination, and a coach unafraid to push them towards excellence—a true testament that with faith, anything is possible.

Next, we shift our focus to Halifax Health, where four nursing students earned scholarships and a job placement of their choice upon graduation. The partnership results from collaboration between the B-CU Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Vice President of Human Resources at Halifax, working together to break barriers in the healthcare field. One student awardee described the opportunity as “too good to be true.”

We eagerly anticipate discovering the next endeavors of our students, faculty, and staff.
