UNCF Breakfast / Wildcats on ESPN

In this edition of the Wildcat Report, Acting President William Berry, Ph.D., extends greetings on behalf of Bethune-Cookman University to a gathering of 200 Volusia County Public School employees, supporters, and school board members, thanking them for their continued support of higher education. B-CU senior, Sabrina Petit-Homme shares a powerful testimony on the positive impact of the scholarship on her life, thanking God for putting the United Negro College Fund in her path. She emphasizes that the opportunities she has experienced would not have been possible without it.

Next, witness the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats take on the Alcorn State Braves in men’s basketball showdown, live on ESPN 2. Adorned in white as a show of their support for the Wildcats, B-CU students joined by other spectators were on the edge of their seats in the nail-biting loss to Alcorn State. Still, the atmosphere of support and community in Moore Gymnasium reflects that at Bethune-Cookman we are more than a University; we are a family.
