Master of Business Administration
The MBA program is designed to produce graduates with the background necessary to become successful leaders within various business enterprises. Students with specialized degrees such as this MBA will position themselves to become highly attractive and marketable employment prospects.
Program Format
- Fully online
- 36 credit hours to complete the program
- MBA program consists of three tracks:
Track I – MBA General
Track II - Entrepreneurship
Track III – Accounting
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution of higher education with a major or minor in business. Alternatively, a student can enter with a bachelor’s degree in a non-business field that includes 12 credit hours (or equivalent) of business credits. Once an applicant is admitted to the program Graduate Advisor will determine whether the accepted student’s program of study (including any foundation coursework needed) based on an evaluation of the applicant’s transcripts.

- Applicants must have a four-year bachelor’s degree in Business or a minor in Business from an accredited U.S. college or university, or its four-year international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4-point scale.
- Official transcripts from all institutions attended.

- Personal statement essay 500-600 words - (Pick any 3 topics below):
- Describe your specific career aspirations and goals.
- What is your reason for pursuing an MBA?
- What outside interests, internships and work experience do you have?
- Describe a personal achievement that has had a significant impact on your life.
- Describe a situation in which you played a lead role. What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
- At least 2 letters of recommendations-academic, supervisor and other professional. No personal references will be accepted.
- Non-U.S. graduates must provide evaluation from either World Education Services (WES) or Josef Silny INC.
- GMAT is not required.

The proposed MBA program consists of three tracks: General MBA (Track I), Entrepreneurship (Track II), and Accounting (Track III). The program has a core curriculum of 18 credit hours as shown in Table 1 below. These courses are required by all students regardless of the track.

Track II: The Entrepreneurship track II curriculum consists of a total of 36 credit hours as follows:
- 18 Credit Hours – MBA Core (Table 1)
- 18 Credit Hours – Entrepreneurship Track II Courses (Table 3)
The Entrepreneurship Track is an experiential learning curriculum that is designed to develop globally competent entrepreneurs and leaders in the field of entrepreneurship. The 36 credit-hour program is rigorous and demanding, preparing graduates to start their own ventures, as well as pursue meaningful and rewarding careers in the private, non-profit, and government sectors. Participants profit from extensive classroom instruction and hands-on projects, and forge world-class skills and build confidence through “comprehensive-immersion” and “founding one’s own startup” guided and supported by faculty and experts from partner entrepreneurial ecosystems. The entrepreneurship track coursework is shown in Table 3 below.

Track III: The Accounting track III curriculum consists of a total of 36 credit hours as follows:
- 18 Credit Hours – MBA Core (Table 1)
- 18 Credit Hours – Accounting Track III Courses (Table 4)
The MBA with a concentration in accounting curriculum prepares students to pass the CPA exam and also prepares them for success in the global business work world. This rigorous program covers all four sections of the CPA exam in depth including extensive practice test taking of the CPA exam. In the accounting curriculum there are also numerous hands-on team accounting projects to prepare the student for teamwork in the financial field. Finally, the professional internship class grooms the student for upper level management positions.
