The MSN-Education program is a 12-month online program that consists of 38 program credit hours. The courses are offered in 8-week sessions, which allows students to complete the program at their own pace and on their own schedule. This distance-based learning program is ideal for working adults who want to fulfill their purpose of becoming leaders in nursing education while also being able to work full-time.

After completing the program, graduates are eligible to apply to take the Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) exam. This certification is highly respected in the nursing education field and can open up many career opportunities for graduates. To be considered for admission into the MSN Program at Bethune Cookman University, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Possess a valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Earned BSN degree from an accredited (ACEN or CCNE) college/university
  • Submit a completed application form, including official transcripts from all previous institutions attended.
  • Provide a professional resume or curriculum vitae.
  • Submit a personal statement describing career goals and reasons for pursuing an MSN degree.
  • Provide three letters of recommendation from professional or academic references.
  • GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
