Daytona Beach, FL. – Bethune-Cookman University (B-CU) today announced the departure of Anthony E. Jones, Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Experience. Jones will be leaving his position to join Loyola University New Orleans as their new Vice President of Enrollment Management, effective May 13.
“We are grateful for VP Jones’ dedicated service to Bethune-Cookman University," said Bethune-Cookman University Acting President Dr. William Berry. “B-CU looks forward to continuing its collaboration with him as we encourage our seniors to explore pursuing graduate school, law school and other academic and professional programs at Loyola.”
Since his arrival at B-CU in 2021, Jones demonstrated a deep commitment to increasing access for underrepresented and marginalized students. His efforts have not only enriched the University community but have also paved the way for future generations of Wildcat scholars and leaders.
Jones expressed gratitude for his time at Bethune-Cookman, "Although this is an opportunity for me to reconnect with family and friends in my native Louisiana, it is a bittersweet moment for me to leave B-CU. What a privilege it has been to serve this historic institution founded on the long-lasting tradition and legacy of heroine Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune. Thank you for the honor to contribute to a University where nothing is impossible.”
