The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) at the Great Bethune Cookman University is delighted to embark on the journey of faith, scholarship and service for the faculty, staff and students of this stellar University. Our office operates in a dynamic environment and serves as the coordination point for all university grant proposals, contracts, cooperative agreements and research protocols. The OSP supports and assists the faculty and the staff in the identification, preparation, review, interpretation and the submission of Requests for Proposals RFPs. This office is honored to assist in pre and post award management and ensuring the University is in compliance with federal and state regulations. Further, our office assists in the education, professional development and outreach of the Bethune-Cookman University family and the Daytona Beach community.

Mission

Our mission is to foster the development of the Great Bethune-Cookman University as a distinguished liberal arts, teaching and research university in the Christian tradition. To provide efficient comprehensive support services in a professional manner, leadership in research administration, ensure the responsible stewardship of research funding, and oversee the submission of proposals, negotiation and acceptance of awards by the University according to regulations of this University, federal, state, local and private sponsors.
