Shawn HundleyThe Faculty and Staff of the Department of Music thank you for your interest in our programs. It is an exciting time for our department. We are implementing several new courses and other revisions into our degree offerings, our ensembles continue to gain widespread exposure and recognition, and our exceptional faculty brings distinction to the B-CU community through their numerous musical endeavors. We are dedicated to contributing to a vibrant artistic culture on campus and are vigorously committed to providing an environment of scholarship and musicianship. Our annual series of guest performances will present its third season while our students and faculty present a wide array of recitals and events throughout the year.

Recent graduates pursue various paths toward success once they leave B-CU. Many further their education through graduate study at institutions such as New York University to the Florida State University, and numerous places in between. Others find rewarding careers in the fields of education and music production around the nation. We feel the nurturing environment of our department allows students the opportunity for tremendous growth musically and intellectually, contributing greatly to their chances of success once they leave. All students in our music program enjoy low class sizes and ample occasion for one-to-one time with a faculty member.

Please explore our website to learn more about our students, faculty, degree offerings, and ensemble experiences. Feel free to contact us for more information if you have any questions. We would also love to meet you and tours are available through the Wildcat 360 Campus Tour. Thanks for your interest in Music at Bethune-Cookman University; we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Most sincerely,
