2023 Applications for EGG Ambassadors are now closed.

A Youth Theology Institute Exploring Gifts and Graces (YTI/EGG) ambassador serves a vital role in helping to implement the program and by serving as a faith leader working with senior high youth participants.

Ambassadors assist in the direction, supervision, and organization of YTI/EGG participants on during program activities and throughout the YTI/EGG program in order to meet the intended YTI/EGG outcomes.

YTI/EGG Ambassadors’ Roles / Duties

  • Participate fully, including the YTI/EGG program week of July 12th - 23rd, 2023.
  • Participate enthusiastically in all YTI/EGG activities, planning and the leading of participants as assigned and according to the program schedule.
  • Participate in 20 hours of training in the months leading up to the EGG program, including the weekend retreat in March and the two-day retreat immediately before the summer program begins in July.
  • Exhibit leadership skills to guide senior high students in learning, worship, and fellowship activities.
  • Serve as a role model to YTI/EGG participants through action, appearance, manners, language, and general conduct.
  • Develop and maintain healthy relationships with the participants.
  • Accept other duties as assigned.

You will need two letters of recommendation, one from a member of the community and one from a professor or staff member at B-CU. They must be emailed to ytidirector@cookman.edu.

Applications and letters of recommendation are due by 5:00 pm on Monday, January 9th, 2023.

Prior to completing this application, please make certain that you will be available for training sessions up to two times per month beginning in February of 2023. The summer program will occur between July 12th - 23rd, 2023.

Ambassadors Interesting meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 19th, 2023.
