Tuition for Undergraduate, Graduate and Summer

The Cost of Attendance (COA) is the average cost to attend Bethune-Cookman University for one academic year (fall through spring). It includes Direct Cost and the Estimated Indirect Costs. The University adjusts the COA yearly to reflect changes to these costs.

The Direct Cost to attend Bethune-Cookman University consists of your tuition, fees, and room and board. 

The Estimated Indirect Costs to attend B-CU includes allowances for books, supplies, transportation, loan fees, and, if applicable, dependent care. It can also include other expenses like an allowance for the rental or purchase of a personal computer, costs related to a disability, or costs for eligible study-abroad programs. 

All first-time undergraduate students are required to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable $200 Enrollment Fee the first semester of attendance.

Undergraduate Program Tuition Cost per Credit Hour: $576.80


* Students who exceed 18 credit hours will be charged an additional $576.80 per credit hour for each credit that exceeds 18.

The cost per term for students enrolled in an 8-week Sub-Term B-CU Global Direct Online Interdisciplinary Studies, Criminal Justice, or Psychology Program is $250 per credit hour. This cost pertains only to students who have been grandfathered into a Direct Online program.

The cost for students who are active duty military is $250 per credit hour. 

**Students who enroll in less than 12 credit hours will be charged $50 per credit hour for fees.

B-CU Global Online Program students are assessed only a $500 technology fee per term.

Active duty military students are not assessed fees.

Note: Textbooks are not factored in the cost of tuition. However, the majority of General Education Courses are textbook free or access code free.

Graduate Program Tuition Cost per Credit Hour: $750

*The cost for students who are active duty military is $250 per credit hour.

Students who exceed 15 credit hours will be charged an additional $750 per credit hour for each credit that exceeds 15.

**Students enrolled in one of the following Online Programs are assessed a $500 technology fee: Criminal Justice Administration, Organizational Leadership, Exceptional Student Education, or Christian Ministry.

Active duty military students are not assessed fees.

Please note:  Students who reside on campus will be assessed a $3,688 room rate per semester. Students will also be assessed a $1,510 Gold Plus board rate per semester.

The M.S. Christian Ministry program is an 8 - Week Session (May 17th – July 11th).

**GR students who reside on campus Session A or B will be assessed $1,088.00 for room & $343.82 for board, OR for the 10-week session, the student will be assessed $2,233.00 for room & $687.40 for board.
