What is the QEP?

The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is an educational institution’s five-year blueprint for improving the quality and efficiency of student learning. For the period 2022-2027, B-CU has chosen Reimagining Innovations in Student Experiential learning (RISE) as the theme of its QEP. RISE is intended to prepare students with real-world hand-on experience through intentional pedagogy using student-faculty-community collaborative experiences. Under this RISE plan, B-CU will use collaborative coursework and co-curricular activities alongside community partnerships to develop and enhance students with transferable competencies and skills critical to the modern workplace. Therefore, during this period, the entire university family will be immersed in collaborative experiential learning, establishing a Center for Collaborative Experiential Learning, and developing Collaborative Experiential Learning Scholars, ensuring that Together We R.I.S.E!
